What does a Cadet do?

A Cadet, in the UK, is typically a trainee officer in one of the armed forces, such as the Army, Navy or Air Force. They undergo a rigorous and challenging training programme to develop their skills and knowledge of military tactics, weapons handling and leadership. During their training, they may also take part in physical fitness drills, marksmanship and survival training. Once fully trained, Cadets are expected to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute to the operational readiness of their unit. What does a Cadet do?

A Cadet is a person who undertakes a course of professional military training in order to become an officer in the armed forces.
