What does a Recreation Assistant do?

The Recreation Assistant is an integral role in providing a safe, enjoyable and enriching experience to all customers of the recreation centre. This position is responsible for assisting the Recreation Supervisor in the delivery of a wide range of recreational activities, including sports, arts and crafts, outdoor activities and special events. The Recreation Assistant must be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that the recreation centre is running smoothly and efficiently.

The Recreation Assistant is expected to be a role model at all times, providing excellent customer service and managing customer enquiries and complaints.
