What does a Water Technician do?

A Water Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of water systems and equipment. The Technician will work on a variety of tasks such as installing, inspecting, repairing and servicing water systems, pumps, tanks and other related water systems and equipment.

The Technician must have excellent problem-solving skills, have a good understanding of water systems, be able to read and interpret blueprints and be able to use and understand a variety of hand and power tools.
