What does a Church Musician do?

The Church Musician is responsible for providing musical accompaniment for services, events and other activities in a Church. This is a part-time role and the successful applicant will be expected to attend regular rehearsals and services.

The Church Musician will be responsible for selecting and playing appropriate music for each service and event, as well as directing choirs and other musical groups. This role requires an understanding of different musical styles, as well as a deep knowledge of the Church’s musical repertoire.
